In general we follow these size guidelines, but as you know, every little face is different, the age ranges are just suggestions. For example, our junior size fits a huge range of kids, sometimes as young as three, sometimes as old as teenagers. They are designed to start fitting most kids well around 4 years old, but no two heads are the same!

Our recommended sizes are:

Baby: ages 0-2 years old
Toddler: ages 2-4 years old
Junior: ages 4+ years old
Adult S/M: fits petite faces and generally women best
Adult L/XL: fits wider faces and generally men best

The name is a reference to the nostalgic game we all grew up playing (aka “rock, paper, scissors”). It also pays tribute to the U.S. mission to support autism. Screen Time Blue Light Blocking glasses, also known as Anti-Visual Noise (AVN) glasses, block harmful blue light rays caused by electronic screens. They protect the eyes from these harmful rays and reduce eye strain, headaches, migraines, tired eyes, and stress on your vision.

Just as your child learns in school, sunlight is made up of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet light. When combined, it becomes the white light we see. Each of these colors has a different energy and wavelength. Red light rays have longer wavelengths and less energy, where on the other end, blue light rays have shorter wavelengths (between 380 - 500 nm) and more energy.

There are two types of blue light. Natural blue light comes from the sun. Our body uses blue light from the sun to regulate our natural circadian rhythm (sleep and wake cycles), boost alertness, elevate your mood, and improve your overall feeling of wellbeing. Artificial blue light comes from digital screens like TVs, computers, smart phones, iPads, fluorescent and LED lights.

We make no claim about having the highest percentage, but our lenses block over 80% of the most harmful wavelengths of blue light below 420nm. There are probably more expensive products out there that have that extremely dark yellow/ amber color that probably block more. Ours are a reasonable cost, practical (we do think we have the best type of frames of all the blue light glasses out there!), and block a useful amount of the harmful blue light associated with screen time. It is good protection and possibly the best value, but we can't claim best overall blocking protection.

Our blue-light blocking lenses are made from polycarbonate. The standard clear corrective lens we use is an impact-resistant polycarbonate material very commonly used in kids eye wear. Your local pediatric optometrist will likely offer the same type of product. Our lenses help protectyour child's vision by holding up torough-and-tumble play or sports without cracking or shattering. Many eye care practitioners insist on polycarbonate lenses for children's eyeglasses for safety reasons. The material is30% lighter than standard plastic or glass, which makesthem more comfortable to wear and less likely to slide down your child's nose. Our lenses also are about 20% thinner than standard plastic or glass lenses, so they are a good choice for anyone who wants slimmer, more attractive lenses. Glasses with polycarbonate lenses also protect your child's eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The polycarbonate material is anatural UV filter, blocking over 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays. Please note, because we use a third party provider for this product, we do not make any claims as to the chemical components of this material and do not test them ourselves.

YES. All made of the same exact material with the same safety standards. All injected dyed color so no leaching is possible, molded logos, etc.

YES. Please click here to see our AVN testing document from an independent lab. AVN stands for "anti visual noise" - that is what most eye care professionals call blue light glasses. This testing document shows the percentage of blue light that penetrated ("transmitted") through the lens in testing depending on the wavelength. The most harmful wavelengths of light are below 420nm which our lenses blocked over 80%. Let us know if you would like clarification on how to read the chart.

Yes, we do extend the return window during the holiday season (Nov & Dec) to 60 days from purchase date.

No problem, it happens! We take sunglasses returns within 30 days of purchase. Click here to start your Easy Return & Exchanges. We are a small company, so unfortunately can't afford to offer free return shipping, so your refund will deduct the shipping fee - but you will only be charged for the actual postage cost (usually a couple dollars within the Australia).

Prescription orders (via your optometrists) are NOT eligible for returns and exchanges. Sorry, but those are cut based on your submitted prescription so they are not something we can restock! Free gifts or promotional items with retail value are also non-refundable.

We hate when things break but we are so confident that our Italian-made sunglasses are made to last that we will replace any Roshambo frames that break or get damaged in the course of normal, intended and expected use for up to one (1) year from the date of purchase. You will only need to cover the shipping costs.

All you need to do is send us a copy of your receipt and a photo of the damage to contact@roshambobaby.com.au and we will be in touch to arrange your
replacement.

We hate it when lenses get scuffed or scratched! If twisted at an awkward angle, it is possible for lenses to pop out of your shades. Have no fear! The lens is shatter resistant and small parts tested, so it is still safe for baby on its own. It is also extremely easy to pop back in to place (watch our videos).

But, if you happen to scuff or scratch a lens, we’ve got you covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase. We’ll replace all types of lenses, including your mirrored polarised lenses for free! You will only need to cover the shipping costs.

If you happen to scuff or scratch a lens, we’ve got you covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase.  All you have to do is pay for the shipping. The lens replacement offer is intended to be a one-time replacement offer.

Please note replacement lenses are just that - if they are scratched /
damaged, they can be replaced by sending photos of the damage and a purchase proof of your receipt. This is not the same as wanting an extra pair of new lenses.

Unfortunately we cannot replace frames or lenses that are lost. Our warranty only covers for damage or defects.

scratch-proof. If you happen to scuff or scratch a lens, we’ve got you covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase. We’ll replace with our polarized (grey) lenses for free! If you happen to lose or scratch a lens, we offer FREE replacement lenses on our website, just email us for the secret code and we will send this to you. Shhh... don't tell anyone :) Putting in your new lenses is easy! First pop out your old lenses by pushing from the back of the lens and bend the frames a little if needed. Then to put in your new lenses, start from the front outer edge by the temple and work your way towards the bridge of your glasses. Again, you can stretch the frames a little to pop them in. WATCH VIDEO

Our frames are slightly malleable in nature, so stretching can occur if bent for prolonged periods. You can easily bend the bridge, arms and ear pieces to adjust your fit to be a little tighter or looser. Don't worry about bending the shades any way that makes them a better fit, that's part of the value of them, you can't hurt them! WATCH VIDEO

Our shades strap and ear adjuster kit comes with two options to get the perfect fit for your child’s sunglasses! The head strap and ear adjusters are both made with a comfy, stretchy, light, and easily detachable food grade clear silicone material that is perfect for baby, toddler and junior size sunglasses and glasses frames.

The head strap will help keep sunglasses and prescription glasses on your child’s face to prevent losing them or sliding off during playtime. Our kids' ear adjuster pieces help create a better fit on infants or toddlers growing into a larger size. WATCH VIDEO

Here is our trick! We recommend heating the frames in really hot water for a few minutes, then removing them and bending them back into the appropriate shape while the material is a bit more pliable and letting them cool that way. To bend them back in shape, set the shades on a flat surface like a table or counter: you will probably notice one side or the other is raised slightly off the table while the other is resting on it. All you have to do is give them a little bend back until they sit flat on the surface. Super easy! If that is not enough to make them comfortably wearable, please let us know! WATCH VIDEO

Tracking your order is easy! You will receive your tracking number once your shipment has been dispatched. The tracking number will be sent via email or via text.

If a package is marked as “delivered” by the courier, please check around your home / yard as well as check with your neighbors. Sometimes packages may be left inside open garages, behind gates, or under patio furniture! You may also have a notification card in your mailbox from the courier. With our couriers, if a package has gone missing, it is recommended to put in a missing parcel investigation with the courier who will follow the necessary steps available to try and retrace your missing parcel. Please also contact us at contact@roshambobaby.com.au to advise. We will submit an investigation query on behalf to try and quicken the process.

We aim to dispatch your order within 1-2 business days. Please place orders before 9pm each day to be dispatched next business day. If your order is placed after 9pm, your order will be dispatched the following business day.

All orders are shipped using Australia Post / Mailplus couriers. If you have a preference with who you would like us to use, please state this in the notes section of your order at Cart.

Once dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to you via email or to the contact number you have provided.

We aim to fulfill and dispatch items the next 1-2 business days even in peak periods like Christmas, sales periods, etc. But unfortunately, we are not able to control the shipment timeframes, and delays are out of our hands. But if you encounter a situation such as this, please contact us at contact@roshambobaby.com.au with your order number and we can help chase this up with the couriers for you and launch a parcel delay investigation on your behalf in the hope that the item will show up soon at your doorstep.
